Lindsey Dechant
Owner/Choreographer
Lindsey is one of the top-ranked Ballroom Dance Instructors in the United States and is certified to teach all styles of the partnered dances. She’s been teaching and competing Professionally and also with her students since 2003. She’s danced in competitions all over the US and Europe in American Rhythm and Smooth and International Latin and Standard. Lindsey has choreographed and performed in several musicals, showcases, corporate events, music videos and commercials. 
Through her years of teaching she has developed a method of teaching that works with all individuals. Including individuals that are in wheelchairs, visually and hearing impaired. Lindsey has taken these students to competitions all over the world.
 Lindsey opened Omni Ballroom in 2014. Her dream was to create a fun welcoming environment for everyone to learn to dance.

Melissa Trader
Melissa grew up a competitive level 10 gymnast in Colorado. Her performance and dance enthusiasm continued through college where she graduated from Colorado State University with a degree in performing arts with an emphasis in dance.
Post graduation she danced with Impact Dance, modern dance company in Fort Collins. She then became a stunt woman for six flags. Looking for full time employment she found her self at a local franchise ballroom studio to begin her ballroom training.
Melissa has taught and choreographed since 2005, throughout Colorado and for a brief time in Savannah Georgia. She enjoys teaching others how to enjoy themselves on the dance floor, and learning how to improve her craft. She is happy to call Omni Ballroom her dance home.

Michael Hoover
Michael is an accomplished dancer, choreographer, and teacher, whose passion for partner dancing has inspired singles and couples alike for over two decades. His students have won dance competitions across the United States, Canada, and Europe. For Michael, his greatest reward is in seeing his students succeed and flourish in their love for dance.
As an award-winning choreographer, Michael has a talent for captivating audiences with his dynamic performances. He has also been recognized for his exceptional teaching abilities, having taught over 40 different styles of social dances to students of all ages, levels, and abilities.

With a patient and understanding approach, Michael is dedicated to helping his students achieve their goals. Whether it’s preparing for a competition, choreographing a memorable first dance for a wedding, or simply improving confidence on the dance floor, Michael’s guidance and expertise will elevate any dancer to their full potential.

Mallorie Sommers
Mallorie has a lifetime of dance experience rooted in formal ballet and jazz training since childhood. She attended the Las Vegas Academy of Performing Arts, and has also studied and performed lyrical, Broadway, tap, and ballroom styles of dance. Mallorie brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her choreography and loves sharing the beauty of movement with her students.

Renato Chavez
For the past 16 years Renato has been sharing his passion and knowledge for Latin Dances. As a native of Peru, Renato grew up in a small city where dancing was a daily part of life. He was part of Peruvian Folklore dance teams competing and performing around Peru and South America. 4 years ago Renato moved to United States and started teaching in New Orleans for almost 2 years. The pandemic changed his path to Colorado where he’s been teaching and sharing his passion and love of dance.

  

Spencer DeJaynes
Spencer DeJaynes has been a dancer since he was a child, his mom being a dance teacher & studio owner enthralled him on a path of competing since 10 years old. Taking state titles in hip hop, later in middle school he made an appearance on “America’s Best Dance Crew” when competing as the youngest contestant on the show on team “VersaTile”. Then started competing in Ballroom where he took state championships in Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, East Coast Swing, Rumba, and Cha-Cha.

    

Katie Swenson

Katie dance styles ranging from classical to street. She has danced with the Cleo Parker Robinson Dance Ensemble and Rennie Harris Grassroots Project, among others. Currently, Katie teaches dance to K-5 students at SOAR Green Valley, and enjoys using combinations of dance styles as tools to explore creativity and connection with others through movement.
